OBO has the potential to ascend my harmony to another level, by fixing my ESratio and midface ratio. It will also make my nose appear shorter by widening my nose bridge.

OBO for widening (although much rarer) gives aesthetically superior results to OBO for medialization. Anyone can make this observation for themselves but is also noted by Wolfe and Raposo do Amaral.

It is technically easier since there is nothing to take away.

Aesthetic cases only requiring a few millimeters can be done subcranially (no craniotomy, dural dissection, brain retraction, or communication between nasal passages and intracranial area.)

Tessier said OBO was “just” an extension of a rhinoplasty.

A paramedian style OBO or U Shaped Orbital Osteotomy will give the best results for most narrow eyes individuals who have noses where the sides are at nearly a 90° angle coming off the face.

Unfortunately few will do it anymore and one of the greats is retiring this year.

The person who sent me those pics told me it was Dr. S Anthony Wolfe who performed the surgeries.
