I'm mixed and I live in SEA. I look more Filipino than I look any of my other ethnicities which already means I don't fit the beauty standards. I said this before but I was severely malnourished, starved, sick, and abused as a child which fucked with my development. Everyday I see other rich mixed kids get treated so well while I am ND, poor, and boneless.
The thing is, people compare you all the time to other mixed kids or people of different ethnicities all the time, and mixed kids, even abroad, are always seen as the attractive, rich kids. I'm poorer, and in a lot of ways, worse off than the average Filipino here since I barely have any financial support from my family. People treat me like I'm extremely rich, so everyone raises their prices, expectations, and so on for me, when I'm literally below average. Sucks.
My sibling and my parents are all good looking. I just got really unlucky in terms of looks.
