I've been on Accutane since beginning of February and started with taking 30mg daily, before I was put on they had me do labwork like usual and at that time my triglycerides level was 63. Fast forward to March my dose had increased to 60mg daily (one in the morning and another in the evening), I finished what I had gotten prescribed for March and was due for updated labwork so I got that done and received my results today and saw that my triglycerides level is now 223. Due to getting dry spots/eczema on my arms my doctor lowered my doesage back down to 30mg daily, will my dose being lowered help with lowering my triglycerides level? My diet has not changed since my first labwork where it showed my triglycerides level was 63 and I am fairly lean/victim weight (6'0 - 140lbs) so I am unsure what would have caused my triglycerides levels to spike so suddenly? thoughts?
