Sudden thinning and shedding from Rogaine, Does Min even have a purge like this , is it normal?

- About 2 weeks into Rogaine 1x/day.
- hopped on Fin but off after 1 week due to VERY noticeable sides. 0.5mg EOD
- Already on Ketoz

Whats going on with the min? should i stop or keep going hard.
I was already a diffuse thinner but it has def picked up especially in the crown area and one side of temple.

Should i hop back on Fin ASAP?

Also brutal shedding is a good sign when using minox all the hairs are going from telogen to anagen and therefore need to shedd

Dont stop fin it will fuck you over in the longterm

Zix + azelaic acid, 90% reduction in scalp dht formation. My hair shedding decreased more than 70% from day one of use.

Nizoral is also risky for long term use due to it's systematic effect. Either buy shampoo with
Piroctone Olamine or make it using powder + ethyl alcohol + distilled water.

Nuking dht is not ideal either, excess estrogen is cancer promoting.

Thanks for calming me a bit. Still freaking out over the shedding which is why i hopped BACK on fin even after very noticeable side effects.

by the way what is Zix?

Also i just got prescribed 15% Az acid for my skin. Do i just rub it all over my head as well?

Im doing 0.5 EOD might do the 0.25 mg soon. I stopped fin after a week due to noticeable and horrible sides but hopped back on 2 weeks later.

I simply COULD NOT fathom the thought of losing my hair in the long term.

Just saying, you're committing suicide by going off fin. Minoxdil shows promising results when you first try it even off fin, but in a bit it will plateau and you'll regret it. Try to lower the fin dose
