Sugar diet is not as good as you think.
In the first place boosting your hepatic igf1 will not have that much of an effect on bone growth, the main driver is chondrocyte igf1(localized).
Even then, if this was not the case it still wouldnt be the best alternative, you would just spike it for a short period of time and then it would depress, bone growth isnt instant it occurs over time and u neef sustained levels of gh and growth factors, eating animal protein for example, gives a much more regulated and long lasting increase, if u really wanted to do this with sugar diet ud probably have to be eating couple hundred grams every couple of hours=insulin resistance and getting fat as shit. Furthermore, the igf1 released after high sugar intake is just a defense mechanism of the body(kinda like gh after excersice/fasting as an antioxidant to protect u from the stress) it will reduce oxidative stress(because taking too much sugar causes it) and blunt excessive gh.
So in conclusion, unless u dont give a shit about insuolin resistance, and ur willing to eat couple kg of sugar a day then its not worth it
