Should I eat a lot of white sugar before bonesmashing? Does it actually increase IGF-1 levels and how bad can this be for your hormones and spike of insulin? Can I counteract the insulin with cinnamon or does that mean the IGF-1 won’t spike either

I wouldn't recommend consuming a large amount of sugar bud. That shit will backfire.

Honestly valid

Sugar does boost igf 1
In growing thoroughbreds (horse), a sugar and starch rich diet gave higher plasma ig 1 levels during rapid growth phases compared to a fat and fiber rich diet (Staniar et al., 2007)

Prepubertal female cows fed lots of starch and sugar showed increased serum ig 1 concentrations to spike growth (Nosbush et al., 1996)

Cinnamon activates AMPK (anti aging pathway) and inhibits mTOR (growth pathway) so yeah ur missing out on growth if u take it w the sugar

It can raise inflammation and cortisol which leads to insulin resistance, and even with a healthy diet a person can develop diabetes if they have lots of cortisol.
Chronic cortisol overproduction could be a cause of type 2 diabetes, as numerous interventions that decrease cortisol show antidiabetic effects, while factors increasing cortisol are associated with type 2 diabetes development (Isaza, 2019)

idk about the bonesmashing part but do whatever
