Suicide thoughts are very common but what abt doing it?

It is obvius that suicide thoughts are very common on lonely men, but a very small percentage of men actually committ. How come? What is it from doing it that stops someone? If you've never experienced love and never are respected, what stops you from doing it? Like c'mon bro me personally i dont wanna tolerate that shi anymore yk what im saying?
