About 3 months ago I decided to buy some basic supplements, I originally thought it would just help overall health and improving my workouts, but it also seemed to have positive effects on my skin, sleep quality, bloating, and even seemed to increase my eye appeal? (Got about 4 compliments about my eyes just a few days after starting the supplements). I started with just:
  • Zinc
  • Vitamin D3
  • Vitamin K2
and then added:
  • Calcium
  • Magnesium
  • Ashwagandha
I've noticed nothing but good results across all metrics, I hit a growth spurt and grew from about 5'8 to 5'10-5'11 (Still short but better than nothing), Skin went from oily and acne covered to nearly flawless, and it felt like all the exercise I did, for face and body, were finally starting to work. So I've decided to add more supplements.
  • L-Carnitine tartrate
  • CLA
  • Butea Superba Root
  • Suma root
  • Shilajit
  • Turkesterone
  • Fadogia Agrestis
  • Antler Velvet
  • HMB (B-Hydroxy-B-methylbutyrate)
  • Berberine
  • Boron
  • N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine with Molybdenum and Selenium
  • Lion’s Mane
  • Tongkat Ali
Before you run to the comments to say that it's too much to take at once, they're all split across 2 alternating cycles

Morning (with breakfast)

  • DHEA

Pre-Workout (30–45 min before training)

  • Tongkat Ali + Fadogia Agrestis
  • Turkesterone

Post-Workout / Largest Meal

  • HMB (B-Hydroxy-B-methylbutyrate)
  • CLA
  • Shilajit
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (with Molybdenum + Selenium)
  • Creatine
  • Berberine (2nd dose if needed)

Taper at end of cycle

  • DHEA: reduce gradually over 2 weeks (e.g., 25mg → 15mg → 10mg → stop)
  • Tongkat Ali / Fadogia: reduce by ~50% for 1 week → stop

Cycle 2 – Weeks 9–16 (Butea Superba / Antler Velvet / Suma Root)

Pre-Workout (30–45 min before training)

  • Butea Superba Root + Antler Velvet + Suma Root
  • Turkesterone

Post-Workout / Largest Meal

  • HMB
  • CLA
  • Shilajit
  • N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (with Molybdenum + Selenium)
  • Creatine
  • Berberine (2nd dose if needed)

Taper at end of cycle

  • Butea / Antler / Suma: reduce by ~50% for 1 week → stop

Theoretically, this should boost pretty much every essential hormone and nutrient needed to grow muscle and boost test, DHT and androgen, and the IGF-1 from the deer velvet should even make bonesmashing more effective. I'm stuck at hmtn and desperate to ascend, but I don't want to fuck up by balls and life span by running roids.

Has anyone tried using supplements like this? Why wouldn't this work? Am I better off just using steroids and going infertile?

steroids won't even change your bones let alone sniffing traditional chinese medicine.

They do if growth plates haven't closed yet, like I said, I hit a growth spurt very recently so I'm hoping they stay open for a bit longer
