Suppose you try and compliment a woman but maybe she didn't hear you. What do you do?

Suppose you were at the store and she was a cashier. You heard her on the AP system announcing that all customers should bring their groceries to the front.

You have no delusions of taking this woman home and having sex with her. But you feel like telling her she has a nice voice. She really did have a pretty voice. So you wait for her to stop talking to her co-workers. And then you say "You have a nice voice-"

But then she starts talking again. Maybe she didn't hear you. Should you try again? Or maybe she did hear you but doesn't care, in which case you can only do yourself harm by saying it again. So what do you do?
 
Bash her skull against the counter, grab the register and hop in my getaway van.
 
Don't be autistic, either say it confidently or don't say it at all, no need to overcomplicate things in conversation, most people don't think before they speak
