If my eyes are resting I have NCT but if I consciously keep my eyes open wide I have PCT. What’s the surefire way to test NCT vs PCT. I’ve developed ptosis (or maybe born with it) from 24/7 squinting for 3+ years because I was too lazy to get contacts so I look high all the time. Would getting ptosis repair alone fix it or does everyone have PCT with their eyes wide open?

If you had true PCT your resting eyes would be Neutral or very slight PCT (like me).

i have noticeable NCT(negative) but ptosis/high eyes in both eyes similar to Brandon Ingram. Can ptosis repair make me PCT or would I need canthoplasty if my wide open eyes are PCT?

This is my resting eye area (sober):

I'd suggest doing both tbh

Wouldn’t lifting the upper eyelid in theory give him PCT? You can see his right eye is less droopy so it looks more like PCT than his left. Never noticed how much of a failo having this is. Makes me look high/retarded all the time.

Possibly yes, but I don't see it being better than a canthoplasty.

canthoplasty reduces pfl, canthopexy is better option
I have Chad PFL so I need to keep it. It’s the only good part about my eye area. What’s the difference between canthoplasty and canthoplexy that causes it to preserve pfl?

what's your pfl?

what's your pfl?
Hard to measure exactly but ~31-32mm. I have high set browridge + eyebrows though so it gives more of an Asian eye look than Chad.

how did you measure it? this is important

ok you're good, canthopexy just lifts up the lateral canthus instead of repositioning it closer. This will maintain your pfl while tightening the lid

That’s exactly what I need.

What’s pfl the surgeon recommended canthoplasty for me
palpebral fissure length aka the distance between your medial canthus and lateral canthus

apparently hoodingmaxxing thread cold wate ron face helped my droopy eyelids but they were from being tired all the time probably blood circulation

But fixing ptosis would make them full blown PCT. Look at the difference between the left and right eye (droopy vs less droopy).

first is your ptosis maybe from dehydration or being tired all the time try the hoodingmaxxing thread thing first
