last summer i went w my girlfriend and some of her NYC circle (all influencers / models) and they dragged me to surf lodge, ive never been in my life since its an inside joke in my circle thats its literally for "influencers" to clipfarm and nobody actually legitimately sends there.
lo and behold it was exactly what i expected, a shitty ass motel on a lake thats been haphazardly renovated into a trendy spot with $200 cover and $45 drinks. literally made me want to puke, nothing like nikki beach st tropez that i was at a week prior.
i left my bird and did a quick lap to gauge the crowd, it was def older and ultra-white (think i saw 1 mixed person in a crowd of 600). recognized a few hot girl influencers so went to say hi, but the demographic was old and chopped (think botoxed up 40yo trophy wives).
i dipped from the cabana my bird and her friends got for free (sponsored by alo or something) and left w my boys to rip a better bar
