I'm getting a BSSO, and during my second to last consultation he grabbed my cheeks and had me bite down on my molars to gauge the depth of my bite and sort of eyeball the changes he intends to make.

He said "You're going to be a good looking boy when I'm done with you."

He's one of the highest rated maxfaxes in Canada and does plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery as well. Can I trust him? It's been driving me nuts whether or not he's just saying that or if I can actually look forward to being better looking.

As far as I know there aren't any highly rated maxillofacial surgeons who also do plastic surgery in Canada.

I'm also seeing one of the highest rated surgeons for a bsso most likely and based on reviews he is only concerned with functional issues.

Yeah the way I phrased it was gay but he's my jaw surgeon. They're supposed to grab your face and assess your soft tissues and proportions. That's what he was doing.
