if I remember correctly, there are three methods by which surgical maxillary ccw rotation is achieved:
pivot impaction
ostectomy impaction
downgraft
its been kinda hard for me to find an easily cohesive and consistent answer among papers and forums. if anybody who’s well versed in jaw surgery could reply to this post I’d appreciate it. I’m just interested in how these methods would each effect philtrum height, chin height, and gummy smile
