surgery at 15?

so i recently had a consultation with an orthodontist regarding getting mse. he said after expanding, my upper palate wouldnt fit on my lower one, and that would be even worse then my non existent 'sleep apnea'
instead he said that an option would be maxillary and mandibular protraction, or short, doubl jaw. sadly i am only 15 years old, my bones havent stopped growing yet, so i cant really opt out for surgery atm. i am really lost on what to do

When did you hit puberty?iim also 15 and im almost fused despite being a very late bloomer
