Stupid but serious question. Gene editing is progressing at an insane rate. Even though it's impossible for an adult to edit their genome, I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes possible in the next 20 to 30 years, especially with stem cell replacement. I want to surgerymax within the next 2 to 3 years, but I'm worried that having implants and my features moved a bit on my face will make it so that gene editing therapy won't work. Surgery changes your face so that your genetics don't matter as much, but if in the future I have perfect genetics, I'm worried surgery won't allow those genes to express themselves. Is surgery maxxing still worth it?
