Surgery next week, tips?

Im gonna have orthognatic surgery next Week here in Brasil
My surgeon said i only have an 2mm gap between upper teeth nd lower teeth so i can only have an 2 mm advancment of the mandible , but im gonna have a genioplasty surgery too

he thinks he can do a ccw rotatio surgery too so we can have more advancement in The lower jaw

Hes gonna fix my lower jaw misaligment too for more symetrical face

Do you guys have more tips?

For real? How is this kind of thing free, while I have to pay over €30000 to fix an actual jaw issue, with confirmed damage to the TMJ and surrounding cartilage?
There’s barely any pathological issue in your case. Maybe a slightly narrow airway, and sure, your jaw could use a very minor CCW rotation, but it’s still better than what you’ll see in a large part of the general population.
Anyway, if it’s for free, and with a reputable surgeon, then go ahead. 2mm on it’s own won’t do the cut, though.

Impossible in Germany. I have a skeletal underbite, severe midline-discrepancy, that progressively worsens (8mm now), mild SFS, cartilage resorption in the TMJ region, extreme TMJ, Tinnitus, and my teeth don’t align at all making it almost painful to eat.
Yet, these fuckers here deny to pay for it, because my lower teeth apparently need to overshoot the upper ones by several mm. Mine are edge to edge due to my body compensating for the skeletal discrepancy.

Danke, doch tatsächlich schon, das kommt immer auf den Einzelfall an.

Bei den Kostenvoranschlägen lag eine normale Bimax bisher immer bei etwa 15-20K. € (ohne zahnärztliche Behandlung).
Eine Le Fort I gab es teilweise schon für 5-10K.

Bei mir reicht aber eine normale Bimax nicht aus.

Du musst verstehen, dass ich bereits 15000€ für die MSE-Behandlung bezahlt habe.
Im Falle einer Operation wäre beispielsweise eine SARPE als Alternative durchgeführt worden, was den Preis wiederum erhöht hätte.

Nein, ich benötige eine Bimax, um das Kiefergelenk wieder in eine entspanntere Position zu bringen und dadurch möglichst weiteren Schaden zu verhindern.
Geplant ist eine CW Rotation oder gegebenenfalls Bone Grafts, um das SFS zu korrigieren.
Eventuell kommt auch eine MMDO infrage, da der Unterkiefer in seiner Größe unterentwickelt ist (wäre aber rein kosmetisch), sowie möglicherweise SARPE, da das ursprüngliche Expansions-Ziel mit der MSE nicht vollständig erreicht wurde (Nur 7mm statt 12mm).
