First post, kinda nervous lol. For reference: I'm aware of my join date. I've known about and been in this space for a while, I simply never considered making an account until 2024 and I kept getting declined lol. I'm not claiming that I'm not a greycel either, I obviously don't have anywhere near 500 posts.

The mole:
No I did not pin a shitload of melanotan II and randomly grow an ugly mole, I grew up with this raised mole right next to my nose and I always hated it, I have others around my face but none of them were raised nor the same size as the one I removed. I was bullied and made fun of for it, and some people had the audacity to feed me cope by calling it a beauty mark😂, but it was far from the truth. It was a terrible and ugly misc feature. So I decided to finally do something about it instead of bitching around and wondering what if.

Two Options:
After I scheduleded an appointment with the dermatologist, they began with an inspection to see if it was cancerous or not (if it was, it would've been covered by insurance). They determined it wasn't and gave me two options: shaving it off for $350, with the downside of it potentially growing back since the doctor said young people are more likely to have regrowth, or the excision for $750.

What I went with:
I picked the $750 option considering the possibility of it growing back and having to spend a total of $1,100 if I shaved it first then had to remove it again later. The procedure was quite simple and short. The doctor draws an eye-shaped oval around the mole, then the assistant injected anesthesia around the area, inflating it and making it feel numb. After that, the doctor cuts along the eye she drew, removes the mole, then stitches it up with internal stitches underneath the skin to reduce tension and help healing, followed by external stitches on the surface to neatly close the skin and minimize scarring.

Heres a picture of the mole for those who wanted to see it.
After the surgery the doctor put vaseline and several bandaids on the scar so no oxygen was entering and it wouldn't get infected. Doc said no exercise for at least a week: no lifting, no swimming, and no running. She said that increased heart rate, blood pressure, and facial blood flow can run the risk of the wound reopening, and considering the face has tons of blood vessels it's sensitive to those things. People would ask the obvious questions about what happened or what's wrong with my face, and I just made up an obvious sarcastic lie about a fight and hoped they'd laugh it off. The bandaid was annoying as I had to put vaseline on the scar twice a day which meant I went through 2 bandaids a day. I just got the stitches removed today and the area is noticeably red. Doctor said it'll go back to normal soon but the scar won't fully fade for 6 months. If this gets some traction I might consider uploading before and after pictures. This is the first of many hardmaxxes I have planned to document here. Although this is an un-ironically "soft" hardmaxx in the sense where its nothing crazy like a lefort 3 it's still surgery none the less and I wasn't gonna diy this at home. I have a septoplasty to fix my deviated septum scheduled for May 15th. I just got a call from the doctor's office while making this saying that insurance is covering the surgery and I only gotta pay $340 instead of $3,000-$13,000 fuck yes. I might reschedule though because I have a flight soon after. I also fancy the idea of Upper Eyelid Fat Grafting but that'll be later in the future.

Thank you for reading and bump if u fw it :)
