There's this idea that swipe apps have helped male autists be able to get laid
As one of the few posters who was already 18+ years old in the era when swipe apps were either rare or nonexistent, I can confirm the opposite is true
Back in 2012 or so, there was still a stigma attached to meeting sex partners online. As a result, most NT males would never be caught dead on an online hookup platform (which meant I had way less competition online back then compared to the current online marketplace)
Once swipe apps became mainstream (and the stigma of being a man on an online hookup platform went away), there was simply no way this autist could compete with the plethora of NT men on swipe apps
