He could, but most rich guys prefer sugar babies to hookers because they think that sugar babies are more "exclusive" and these guys also derive emotional support/validation from the sugar babies - hookers seem more transaction. Sugar baby feels like a paid GF while hooker just feels like a sex worker even though both are essentially the same thing.
