Synthetic cannabinoids - degeneration of the hippocampus

the research you are presenting is so serious, I had to take 3 blinkers to fully focus and understand the implications

Best greetings to all of you, dear members of the Looksmax community.

I'm just a relatively young man without a school degree and professional qualifications, but with various facial and body deformities, who is a nobody both behind the computer screen and in real life (using "internet slang", a 0 out of 10).

Nonetheless, I would like to share this information here to prevent others from making these mistakes. Not just young adolescents, but each individual. I don't use drugs myself, but a good friend of mine died of an overdose a few days ago. His death was a shock, but that's what prompted me to write about it.

Many people (especially our parents' generation) associate the term "drugs" with substances that have existed for a long time (such as cocaine, heroin, ecstasy, LSD, cannabis, alcohol, tobacco, methamphetamine, etc.).

To this day, these are part of our society, but something has changed all of this in recent years, we are talking about so-called "designer drugs" (research chemicals).

However, this is an insanely large and complex topic, so I want to focus primarily on synthetic cannabinoids.

It seems perfectly normal these days that for many people this plant is simply a part of life (cosmetics, dietary supplements, consumption to relieve physical and/or psychological pain, etc.).

I have friends and acquaintances of different backgrounds, religions and cultures (both men and women) who are mostly in their early 20s. Each of them has already had their first experience with it, unfortunately with absolutely terrible, enormous and horrific side effects that are still there for years to come.

Please do not get me wrong. We are not talking about pure, organic, high-quality cannabis that has been bred by educated and intelligent people with a lot of time, effort and knowledge, but something that has been produced in laboratories.

These synthetically manufactured substances are then usually packed in small, colorful bags with childish pictures and offered for sale as quickly as possible (on the streets, in shops, but also on various websites on the Internet that are accessible to everyone).

The target group is mostly children and young people, who often have their first experiences with drugs at this age. Unfortunately, this business is primarily about making a lot of money as quickly as possible, and people's health is not the top priority.

It can be very difficult for someone who is inexperienced in this area to determine whether this is pure or has been contaminated with other agents. In many cases, buyers are lied to.

Instead of cannabis, they are given an unknown drug that nobody knows exactly what it can do to the brain.

It is incredibly sad to see how people who consume something like this are getting sicker and see no way out. Mostly it is a strong psychosis, paranoid schizophrenia, hallucinations, memory is getting worse and much more.

At least these are side effects that I have seen / heard from others.

Finally, if you've viewed/read this message, I'd like to thank you for your time, effort, and interest.

It would be significant to know if perhaps any of you have had experience with this.

All the best to you and your families.

God bless.

Take care of yourselves,

Unfortunately, there are many (young) people here in Europe who smoke synthetic cannabinoids, develop psychosis and paranoid schizophrenia, and have to be treated with very strong psychotropic drugs in a psychiatric hospital for several months or even years.

Even "natural" cannabis has absolutely nothing to do with nature these days. It is mostly grown in laboratories and has an extremely high THC content, which leads to a wide range of mental illnesses in many people in a short period of time.

This drug has already ruined the lives of many.

I'm really sorry to hear that.

I sincerely hope your health, both physically and mentally, improves.

You're absolutely right. Synthetic cannabinoids, but also "natural" cannabis, cause people to turn into "zombies".

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your support.

As you rightly mentioned, I want to educate people that both synthetic cannabinoids and "natural" cannabis can trigger psychosis, schizophrenia, paranoia, perceptual disorders, illusions, depersonalization, hallucinations, etc., and thus damage the brain.

A good friend of mine died from it. I don't want other people to make the same mistake.

I am convinced that drugs lead to degeneration and destroy the lives of many people, mentally, physically, financially, and professionally.

This applies regardless of whether it's cannabis, synthetic cannabinoids, tobacco, refined sugar, cocaine, (meth)amphetamine, heroin, "designer drugs", research chemicals, etc.

I agree with you. It's always better to have a clear mind *without* drugs and to focus on more important things (health, family, children, wife, friends, career, goals in life, hobbies, being of value to society, personal development, education, skills, and more).

First of all, thank you very much for your support and all your approvals (upvotes).

This thread may not be getting as much attention as others focused on optimizing physical appearance, but if this information helps even just one person, I've achieved my goal.

Because of synthetic cannabinoids and modern, "natural" cannabis, more and more people are ending up in psychiatric hospitals and, in the worst cases, suffer lifelong damage (psychosis, schizophrenia, paranoia, perceptual disorders, illusions, depersonalization, hallucinations, etc.).

Children and teenagers are particularly vulnerable because they don't know what they're actually consuming, but this also applies to adults.

Out of pure interest, may I ask how your health is currently, both mentally and physically, after consuming certain cannabis strains?

I really hope you are doing well and wish you all the best.

It's way better, physically I was always ok but it definitely made me anxious like I never was and that lead up to many fuck ups. It's just a void in my memory, I would do the same thing every day.

I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better, even though we don't know each other personally.

I just find it incredibly sad to see more and more (young) people suffering from mental illness and feeling completely lost.

A very good childhood friend of mine died from it a few years ago, and that's why I created this thread, to warn others.

Someone else in my circle of friends was recently admitted to a psychiatric hospital because he developed a severe psychosis. He had to take several antipsychotic medications and was a completely different person during that time, in a negative way.

He had little to no emotion (like a "zombie"), extreme weight gain despite eating a healthy and balanced diet, no motivation, extreme fatigue, no energy, loss of libido, felt no joy, etc.

Others in my area, for example, unknowingly took a hit from a friend's joint when they were young, not knowing it contained something like "Spice/K2". Even now, many years later, they are still struggling with the damage caused by synthetic cannabinoids.

But even regular cannabis these days has nothing to do with nature. Modern cannabis, with its various strains and varieties, is cultivated in laboratories.

Many don't want to hear it, but what's available today is a drug, *not* a natural medicinal plant from the wild.

It's your life, and therefore your free choice.

However, I would strongly advise *against* trying cannabis and/or other drugs.

You'll achieve the most in life with a clear mind, *not* with various substances. But that's just my experience and advice.

Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself what the right path is for you.
