Good. Otherwise there would be terrorists roaming around everywhere spreading it to neighboring countries like Jordan and Lebanon. And ISIS would eventually rise again

lak yazalame al kel bya3ref el entekhabat maskhara be sorya... ma3lom ano alsh3b klo majbour 3la ano yasawet l'l assad.... ref2ati bel jeysh klon anjabro 3ala halshee w nafs al7ake byenteb2 3la muwazafen al7kome lol. they said it's 14M voters but there's literally no 14 million eligible voters in OR out of Syria, plus they somehow managed to count all 14m votes in one day whereas in America it took them months to count 70M votes JFL (mind you we still use the standard pen and paper voting system without any use of technology, so all the votes were counted MANUALLY supposedly... lol)

it's a total dictatorship, take it from the horse's mouth. no one that goes out waving a syrian flag and a picture of assad truly supports him except for a tiny minority. people's livelihoods and survival in syria LITERALLY depend on supporting assad, especially this election because the country is in shambles and people need the government to survive so they suck them off pretty hard LOL

that being said assad is still the best choice for syria rn, but he gotta go eventually

would do it if it made these countries disappear
If you're from a Western imperialist state then you should STFU because your lifestyle is funded by Middle Eastern wars. Without the Middle East you'd be riding a horse to school and worshipping trees you tiny brain faggot.

In 1973 when King Faisal of Saudi Arabia stopped distribution of oil to the West, literally every country in the EU had its economy collapse JFL at you. That's why they ended up assassinating him and replacing him with a more complacent puppet.

I am but I'm not in war right now. I can tell you it's pretty shitty and honestly most of the time you don't really feel like you exist, at least that's how it was for me. It all felt like a dream to me, almost as if I was literally looking at a movie playing in my mind except it's real. I was dissociating hard everyday that at time days, as slow as they seem, would fly by.

My most devastating moment was my third week after finishing my military training where we had to go secure a neighborhood and a faggot sniper shot a friend of ours in the leg which scared the shit out of me cause it was the first time I've seen some "real shit" happen in front of me JFL. It was mostly the yelling and brutal blood that was horrifying. I've seen many corpses and didn't feel as terrified as I did when I heard sniper shots and saw that someone right next to me ACTUALLY received a bullet.

It's pretty rough man, and we really don't get paid enough for this shit. I'm only there because I have to as part of my military service, but I just happened to be unlucky af and have my military service during a time of war.

I'm on a break now and enjoying it. Will be back to the battlefield in a couple months.

Why exactly is the war still going on tho, from the Wikipedia map, only some territory in the north is yet to be recovered. Why isn't it tho? It has been like this for 3 years now

I can give you a rundown on the war right now. Basically the war started out as a Syrian GOV vs. Rebel groups as a result of the Arab Spring of 2011, a rebellion movement started to remove all current leaders in the Middle East and replace them, the reason being that they were all dictators. The "rebels" came about from peaceful protests in the country which were met with violence, so the rebels got pissed and took up arms to fight against Assad's dictatorship. Pretty reasonable reaction.

The issue is: foreign-backed militias began to emerge and take advantage of this war for their own interest.

Right now in North Syria, that's where the oil is. Kurdish people that have been whining about a wet dream (having an independent state) are seeing this as an opportunity to take the part of Syria that they think belongs to them. Of course, the only way they're able to even capture territory in Syria is because they're funded by the US. The US literally patrols there and protects oil fields as they extract oil and export it to the US free of charge. In exchange to this, the US gives Kurds weapons.

There are also pockets of ISIS in Syria but they are very harmless because they're little in numbers, so they're not worth talking about. Then there's the last stronghold of "rebels" which are different from the rebels at the start of the war, because these rebels now are backed by foreign powers to fight against Assad. These rebels are in Idlib, and we're literally waiting on the green light to go engage them and re-take the big Syrian cities. North Syria is literally a desert so it's not as important for now, but Assad plans on re-taking it from the Kurdish dogs, which I'll gladly fight for because I fucking hate Kurds as much as Hitler hated Jews. They were offered citizenship into Syria yet they denied it because these cucks want to form their own state at the expense of Syrian land JFL

So yeah, as you can see it's a complicated war. It's literally a war by Syria against foreign powers. Now of course, I disagree with Assad, and in fact I find him to be a terrible dictator, but he's better than having no president whatsoever and becoming Iraq/Afghanistan 2.0. I'll take a dictator over a failed state any day.

Sorry for the long text man. I just thought I'd give you as much closure into this war without boring you out of your mind.

Keep coping subhuman U.S has been a net exporter oil ever since fracking took over.

Only reason we even pretend to be friendly is because you would suck off china and spread sino influence all over the eastern world

Not the best but pretending like the west is dependent in any capacity on some shithole countries in the middle east is ridiculous
That's why the U.S. has been in the Middle East for 22 years and has a proxy (Israel) in the region. That's why the U.S. has been in Afghanistan for 20 years JFL.... You don't know shit buddy.

Yeah that's true but also the lifestyle in Syria had been pretty bad. Limited water and electricity, prices going up, etc. People were angry and there was a lot of corruption and because the country is essentially an arab North Korea you couldn't criticize the government or you go to jail and get tortured.

I was on the side of the rebels until 2012, when the real rebels were defeated and actual terrorists started pouring in and calling themselves rebels, like HTS, FSA and many others.

U.S has been energy indepexent since fracking and a net exporter of oil for years now.

Indeed. Because it has proxies doing the work for them (terrorist groups) and puppets that are submitting to them like certain gulf countries. You don't know a thing about Middle Eastern politics, but I'm literally a soldier and I've lived here all my life, don't act like you know what's going on.

No, because it invested trillions into fracking and natural gas technologies. You don't become a NET EXPORTER of refined and crude petroleum products by setting up puppet states in shithole regions of the world. I don't know why a grunt thinks he can comprehend geopolitics lmfao.

Fracking is being banned because it's pretty controversial. You're an idiot and view the U.S. in a good light but you don't know what you're talking about.

And the U.S. had been working on fracking since 1947 AND STILL suffered an economy crisis from one year of an oil embargo in 1973, and now fracking is being banned slowly. The U.S. wants oil and opium, why do you even think they went to Afghanistan? Because of 9/11? JFL

It doesn;t matter if some liberal states virtue signal how much they don't like fracking when it has given us energy independency and the massive fracking reliant states like Texas, Florida, etc. haven't even drafted legislation, don't plan to, and never will lmfao.

USA left Afghanistan this year you fucking retard JFL

Explain what the reasons are for U.S. involvement in training rebel groups in Syria then, who magically happen to control northern parts of the country where all the oil is?

The US Troops in my country are LITERALLY on rebel territory supporting them and controlling the oil fields. Muh fracking bro, muh the US doesn't need Middle Eastern oil. It doesn't matter, they still rely on Middle Eastern oil and in fact import a lot of it, and they have large reserves. Sure, maybe they don't "need" it, but they sure as hell want it.

I have an IQ of 130 JFL, talk about "muh eveyone has low IQ in the middle east", clearly you've never set foot outside of your country. You're one to talk.
