This shows that the "Arab" status of Syrians is mainly due to cultural factors. It did not mean that Syrians (or Lebanese) absorbed a large amount of Arabian Peninsula ancestry. Groups like Greek Islanders, Peloponnese, Southern Italians and Ashkenazi Jews are genetically closer. This fact debunks:
Extreme Palestinian supporters: Who believe Ashkenazi Jews are "Eastern European converts". The European component Ashkenazi Jews is OVERWHELMINGLY Southern European alongside a substantial Levantine ancestry.
White supremacists: Because certain European subgroups have strong affinities with "non-Europeans" debunking the absolute lie that "Europeans are homogenous between themselves but distinct from all others".
Arab supremacists: Who believe that all "Arabs" share a common ancestry. They don't.
