It would be outrageous to say that thyroid hormones have a significant impact on the development of the body. I will just tell you about my experience at 19 yo, when I had serious problems with the thyroid gland, I took thyroid hormones for 3 or 4 months, all my hormonal bloat went away, I even grew 1,5 cm, and even my penis grew 0.6 inches. You can take yodium and selenium everyday like me rn and you'll be good

I gradually switched from hormones to iodine and selenium. Taking iodine daily without blood tests won't harm you. Iodine is necessary for the synthesis of thyroid hormones (thyroxine and triiodothyronine), while selenium aids in their metabolism and protects the gland from oxidative stress

This probably means you have hypothyroidism or something like that. Your thyroid gland probably doesn't produce enough hormones. It's strange that your doctor didn't prescribe hormones for you. In any case, consult a doctor about this, it is not recommended to delay this problem, there is a risk of having to take hormones for life.
