Why Caridad and Melissa?

Caridad sounds unique and sounds like Caridade which is like kindness in my language, the name of a hurricane sounding like "Kindness" seems strong to me, since it is like, literally opposite, it breaks and kills everything, if you get what I mean, ironic.
