Talent pill can take someone with terrible physical and intellectual genetics to a Superstar.
Messi was born in the slums of Argentina. Before signing for Barcelona's youth academy, he was destined for a bad life. He was born with a growth hormone deficiency, which ment he was going to be much shorter than his peers: 4'10 to be exact. He was also going to work in the coal mines if he didnt make it in football.
So he was going to be midget, doomed by spawn pill, and working an intense labor job just to live. But God had other plans, and give him a 1 in a billion genetic lottery in footballing talent.
His incredible footballing talent landed him a contract with the Barcelona youth academy: La Masia. Barcelona supervisors helped fund Messi's HGH treatment, which aided his hgh deficiency and made him a socially accepted height at 5'9. (inb4 much Messi is 5'6 STFU). He also went on to become the great footballer of all time, earning 100s of millions of dollars which helped him escape the slums and a life of hardship. Due to his wealth and status, he also got to marry a girl outside his LM and raised a family. All this while he was eating McDonalds before big matches and hardly training compared to his peers.
The most brutal part? His counterpart, Penaldo, was born with the height and looks. He worked hard, being know for his "mentality" and created a okay career for himself. But he still lies in Messi's shadow. He himself said he would trade all his 5 UCLs for a WC, while Messi has a WC and 4 ucls. Messi demolishes him in every aspect in the sport besides goal scoring, and he still manages to have a better goal to game ratio than ronaldo. Ronaldo's whole career is being the villain rival of Messi's story.
Moral of the post? No amount of hard work will make you better than the dude born to be great. You can compare yourself all you want, but you will never be better. Brutal
