I want to play music professionally as a career but I would be lying to you if I said that being in this industry is hell. I used to go to a public highschool in which I was a double bass soloist my freshman year of hs essentially go around schools play solo pieces with things like a wind ensemble, orchestra etc. it was great I pulled my school mad funding got a fat ass trophy and a plaque. But now my sophomore year I transferred to a boarding/music school for highschoolers and get talent mogged by 13 talentmaxxed true changs that are international students. The point is that talent pill is EXTREMELY hard and it honestly matters who your around ( shitty public hs for chuds or true Chang music institute)
