Talked about the blackpill with my psychiatrist

He tried jumping around and using mental gymnastics to push this nihilistic world view where anything goes. It was kind of interesting watching a high IQ person like him try and navigate my questions and claims. It felt a bit like a battle of ideology. And we both failed to convince eachother, me because the blackpill is clearly the truth and him because he is older and more set in his ways.

I didn’t name drop it specifically, however it seems he didn’t disagree that looks are important. He instead assumed these things cannot be changed and thus said we should focus on things we can change. Which is where we disagree of course.

I didn’t push too much bc I don’t want to ruin the relationship so I didn’t ask him questions regarding how important looks are compared to other variables. The closest I got was him saying that we should focus on our assets. I asked if personality trait or intelligence can be an asset, can looks be an asset, he though about it and agreed, I then asked if he thinks all assets are created equal or if some thing are more valuable than others, he again agreed. I did not push him further.
