Tall black guys look taller than white guys that are the same height

Was walking behind a crowd of people after getting off the train
There was a white guy and black guy of equal height (6'3) walking ahead of me
For some reason the black guy looked taller relative to the crowd but despite my aspie analysis I couldn't figure out why
The black guy appeared to have a wider back/shoulders but much of it could've been down to the large padded jacket he was wearing
The black guy was wearing a doorag so couldn't compare the back of their skulls properly but the white guys skull looked taller

I could not see the black guys legs because there were other people in front of me blocking the view of his legs, so I was just factoring in his back and skull proportions when comparing him to the rest of the crowd v comparing white guy to rest of the crowd
