1) Do sunbeds give the same tan as you get from sun? (color-wise)
2) Isnt it better to spam sunbeds even long-term (few minutes a week) than spending hours outside with sun shining at you for hours damaging your skin/health (health-wise)

edit: ik going outside blah blah blah.. i mean going out specifically for getting tan from sun

just use self tanner no?, i suggest always putting on sunscreen on your face no matter what and getting better colouring through beta carotene, self tanner, and letting the sunlight absorb through other parts of your body for it's benefits

self-tanners look like shit tbh

Beta-carotene doesnt work by itself i take 100kUI and you can barely see difference

Tanning your skin will damage it on the long run.
Stop doing that shit and embrace your own skin color

you have to get the right self tanner for you tbh it's worthwhile to see if you can find one that looks very natural, how long have you been taking beta carotene

2months i guess

i tried 25k then 50k then 75k and now 100k UI a day

Sun looks much better if you get it long enough

sun tan looks more natural and makes your skin look better due to the uv rays killing bacteria and increasing elastin
contrary to popular belief, sun doesnt age you or kill your collagen if you eat animal based products
The consumption of polyunsaturated fats causes the skin to age from the sun, people who stopped eating PUFA stopped getting sunburns btw amd ray peat conducted experiments rabbits by having groups that ate pufa and ones than ate SFA(saturated fats) and exposing them to the sun, the ones that ate pufa got wrinkles amd the ones that ate sfa werent aging from the sun at all, pufa damages every cell in your body, but especially the skin because pufa is an unstable compound that brakes down amd reacts with molecules in your body causing oxidation reactions , its does it to your dna too and when the weakened dna is exposed to the sun its gets damaged much more than it would normally, PUFA is very common place in the modern diet, Pufa is mostly from seed oils and nuts e.g sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, vegetable oil,
