Tanning without sunscreen

Was wondering if i should tan w out sunscreen cuz isn't tan like a sign that your skin got burned/damaged or something so won't skipping sunscreen give me a quicker tan?

Just put sun screen on wherever it flares up first. My nose turns red in the instant it touches the sun, so I just put sun screen on there

No man it’s not worth it, I tried it and I ended up covered in blisters for a week. The tan did look great but it’s just better to use sunscreen
