- Most important: Sun. Health + tan. UV does not matter in terms of sun. Its for both health/bodily functions + tanning

Naturally you don't want to get too tan. If your color is way off compared to season it looks weird. That does not mean you should not be tanned, but if you look like you came back from a month-long trip in Africa in the middle of December, it will look off.
