Taoism is about just chilling out, whereas Buddhism is more strict and sees life as suffering to be escaped and not reborn into

I’m looking more from a monk perspective tho, as most laypeople don’t really practise properly

I feel more drawn to Buddhist teachings, they make more sense and are more relatable. Will maybe go more indepth later.

I don’t really agree with much of the spiritual stuff. I don’t have any particular beliefs

Yeah, I started with that too. These days I just watch every new video he posts. He's the only reall g in the SR sphere. I also don't really get into the spiritual fufu stuff. I reckon it'll come naturaly the longer I retain. I do believe that the goal is to reach enlightenment, and the way he explains it. I actually had a sort of a "enlightenment" once, but it lasted for a couple of days. It was surreal.
