The sailor tattoo hasn’t been a thing here in America since I’d reckon the 1940s lol. The tribal tattoos were popular in early 2000s

The metal inspired tattoos are still a thing though, and girls tend to get the smaller tattoos.

I don’t think it’s necessarily the tattoo but more so the size of the tattoo. Sleeve tattoos tend to be associated with more NT people. People get those smaller tattoos come off as more like pretenders to me.

But JFL at getting a tattoo nowadays tbh. It’s so common now that you’re less of a cookie cutter if you don’t get one. I see so many dudes with nerdy looks getting tattoos and it just doesn’t fit their looks.
