Tattoos rant

Today I went to the shopping center to upgrade my wardrobe. While strolling through the busy fashion floors I noticed how many young people have tattoos. I'm not even joking it was almost every single person. And one in two foids had something similar to this..

This got me thinking about how eager I was to get ink before but honestly this experience has opened my eyes. The entire concept of a tattoo is to make you unique and to stand out more, that's why so many people rush and get it done so early. With the sheer number of people who have it I think it makes you look more like an NPC. Another problem I have is that after a few years it looks like shit. I can think of very few examples of old people who look sexy with tattoos. And not to mention the part where you pay for all of this shit. Idk I'm kinda glad I reconsidered.

Yeah I agree it's stupid, and it's so ubiquitous. It feels like a lot of people are just getting tattoos for the sake of getting them like a fashion statement. People then end up regretting their tattoos either because they chose something that was once meaningful to them but isn't anymore (like the name of a show or a persons name or whatever), or because they chose something that's technically meaningful but so safe that it becomes bland (tattoo of a word like love, or happiness for instance)
