Taz questions

I am starting Taz 0.05 today and I’m planning to use it every other day. On the days that I don’t use it, can I use Skinoren (20% azelaic acid), or will that be too much for my skin to handle? I also want to use hydroquinone 4% after the Taz/Skinoren.

My routine will be:

Morning:
Wash with a cleanser (salicylic acid 2%)
Moisturiser
SPF 50

Night:
Wash with a cleanser (salicylic acid 2%)
Taz / Skinoren
Moisturiser
Hydroquinone 4%

Is this okay or it will be too much?

Taz gel works. I'm doing it without derm. As long as you have a good skin protocol, and take things extremely slow as well as actively controlling taz and acccutane dose, you can get by doing this. Has been lifesaving for me.

Are u doing blood work for the accutane? And if yes what blood work are u doing? And also if i star should i star like low dose 20mg then like 1-2 months in switch to 40mg or something like that

No. Blood work for accutane is fear mongering. I'm on accutane 40 mg every day and eating like complete shit. I shouldn't be, but it is completely safe to do so. Accutane's chance of killing you is close to 0.

Start at 20mg for 2 weeks and move up to 40 depending on how you respond to the side effects. Everyone responds differently. I would highly recommend jumping to 40 to hit your cumulative dose faster.

Find a gentle cleanser for your Taz.

Tazarotene will peel your skin overtime and you're using an exfoliating cleanser...

This would give you a burning sensation lol

Also, you can just wait for 20 minutes after applying Taz/Skinoren then Hydro then wait for 30 minutes then moisturizer

I have a local pharma underground source that does next day delivery in my country. I was lucky to find this supplier, depends on what country your in for sources.

- If you're hopping on accutane, definitely drop all the acid cleansers. Use water or a very light cleanser.
- You can combine with Taz or Az cream but be very careful, and have a locked in moisture and skin protection protocol.

You can just hop on Accu rn...

You can use both Accu and Taz, but you can use Taz 2x a week

I’ve been using taz for a week used it 4 times and my skin is terrible. My skin is peeling many white heads. Also can u suggest me a cleanser. Also are u using some sfp and should i wait for summer to end then hop on or the sooner the better?

Taz is giga strong, I've been using tret 0.05 since years ago, still taz gave me flaky skin.

So, proceed with caution.

I use a cleanser from the brand simple.
You can use that or just buy cetaphil or cerave (nothing with salicylic acid or aha/bha)

Yes, this is a normal cleanser.
If your skin is irritated, stop using that salicylic one until your barrier looks better.
Then incorporate that salicylic cleanser every other day in the morning

I'd say hop on accutane asap.
Stop all other rubbing cream shit.
Use the cerave cleanser, a good moisturizer that would combat the accutane dry skin and moisturizer.

Unfortunately I don't have any good recommendations.
But you can try the blue Neutrogena one. It's good and actually provides protection.
