Reddit says only tret cream does. Apparently Tazarotene doesn’t have polyethylene glycol or whatever that tret has so it’s not comedogenic? And 0.05 vs .1 strength?

I thought it contains it aswell, maybe it depends of the brand. Well if it doesnt then i guess it wont clog, i still prefer gel since my skin is oily.

Start with 0.5% imo, 1 tube then switch to 0.1%. I did blast 0.1% after 2 months of 0.5% altreno usage, it did irritate a little but nothing serious.

is there any proof that taz works better than tret, i've only seen it be faster working, but if you've been on tret for a year+ theres no point in switching unless you tolerate taz better

Tret catches up yes but Tazarotene simply stimulates collagen much quicker. If you want to get really good skin you can just take it for faster results plus Tazarotene is better for keloid and atrophic scars
