Just saw that in the early 1900s Japanese Americans were on average lower IQ than white ppl which is impressive considering nowadays Japan in general has a higher average iq than white countries

Which is also an important distinction to look at a country average instead of the people from that country living in the west because often they are the best their country has to offer so yeah all the Chinese geniuses you see in America are on average smarter than their peers in China but when a country average is increased this proves environmental factors have a big role on IQ

Just look at a country and what it looks like and it’s easy to guess if the average iq there is high or low. Do people still live in cow dung huts after 3000 years of 0 innovation? Or have people built a nice country in only 200 years or so?

I mean yeah in Western Europe they do iq tests based on population which is not reliable due to the citizens with foreign background

Although I do believe even if they were homogenous Japan and South Korea would still be slightly higher on average they do all that’s necessary to boost that iq

Yeah it’s a tricky subject but i suspect Europeans and north East Asians had the chance to advance so much because of the environment

When you live in a place with brutal winters future planning becomes essential to survival which is something most Africans lack they don’t even have a concept in their language of planning for the future

It gets implemented into their culture over generations which could be why euros and East Asians are so advanced compared to others they culturally have that need to plan for the future, improve things etc which many Africans still don’t have they live for the today every season is the same it’s always ideal for survival there so strength alone is necessary

this just sounds like pc cope. For example, native Americans had great opportunities yet never amounted to anything. Then a bunch of Europeans built a whole country in a few years only. Or for example, the aboriginals didn’t invent even a single thing in thousands of years, then a bunch of British came and built a whole nice country like it was nothing. Or India has good climate and natural resources yet it looks like shit because of the people there. Or Israel didn’t amount to anything ever since the Jews were driven out by the Romans, so 2000 years it was a waste pretty much, then Jews return and in a few decades built a whole country even though it was dry and with little natural resources. So of course it’s a nice bonus if the environment is good but high iq people will make it work regardless whereas low iq people don’t amount to anything even if they get everything handed to them. Just look at Minneapolis for example with all the useless Somalis.

While this isn't necessarily false, not all Africans live in poverty in Africa

African descendant people living in Western nations can and do get measured consistently through the school system and their performance is still bad

Average African American IQ sits around 85

Outside of standard measures they also exhibit many other traits and factors that correlate with lower average IQ such as higher criminality

You can't even say it's a motivation issue because I was given performance evaluations in school due to not caring at all and almost failing out and I still performed above the population norm without trying

So the most sensible answer is that it's just genetics and that if you got all these people to lock in they would likely do no better than their African American or Afro European counterparts
