It’s just weird cus this guy genuinely tells his life story to motivate his class, how he had terrible parents and how he didn’t even really have his own life due to having kids when he was like 20, the guys 60 and they all make jokes about how they’re gonna shove him in a care home,

Reminds me of my teacher. He used to tell very interesting stories of road trips, boxing events etc, but of course the npc students didn’t give a fuck, because the stories were not about the latest tiktok trends or about Leonardo Di Caprio‘s dating life

pays well (over here, and before inflation raped their wages) and all u have to do is tell kids how to do basic ahh stuff,

yeah but we just undermine the elderly via the “oh they don’t know how life is nowadays” cope which tbf is a good bit true but their experiences of life weren’t that different to modern life, they had a mother, a father, a job, a partner, they lived life as we will because they are human like us, but just due to our own ego we undermine them. I seriously appreciate the elderly, and their role in society.

Older people in general, but yes, most of my classmates made fun of some teachers at their back, i had an old biology teacher who probably was one of the few teachers in my school that really loved her work, i felt bad for her
