as a beginner I first started putting like $100 every month into 2 index funds from Vanguard then I opened a Roth IRA (not a traditional IRA) with Fidelity and put $6000 a year (in 2023 you can put up to $6500).

if you want to take it the next level and you are in the West you can start with foreign real estate in some 3rd world country but you will need to visit the bank there first and get shit like a PAN card and all but its so easy and you break even so quick because of how little it costs compared to the real estate in america for example
