Timothy Parsell was 17 when he went to a Michigan prison in 1978. He should have been in his senior year in high school but was instead starting a prison sentence.
He wrote a book about his prison experience called "Fish: Memoir of a boy in a man's prison "
His 1st few days in prison, he was drugged and raped by 3 inmates who he described as being at least 10 years older than him and very muscular.
After it was over with, a coin toss was had to see who he would belong to. Slide Step won the coin toss. Slide Step was described in the book as being a 30 year old muscular black inmate with a scraggly beard and afro.
Slide Step would protect Timothy from other prisoners in return for his bussy. Timothy said that sometimes, Slide Step would chase him around and tickle him.
