I remember that back in the old days, to get surgery you first need to get approval from at least three psychiatrists, who would try to talk you out of it and only after they were really convinced that you are actually trans and you would be better with surgery, they would give you the support.

best thing: they get all their surgeries covered by insurance, and when i walk in saying i feel like a giga-chad i either get slapped with a $50k bill or laughed out of the room
