Teeth removal or expansion

Hi this is my first post I have an appointment on the 27th to have 2 teeth removed during to my narrow pallete to make room for braces but I have recently done some research and I am not sure if a pallete expander would be more be official as im already very recessed and I believe extraction will recess my upper jaw. Pls help
