Teeth whitening

If i have braces and yellow teeth do i just have to wait till there off the whiten. Tips?

Well some people say that if you whiten with braces
it'll leave yellow stains from where the brackets where, but tbh i had braces and did not gaf
and still whitenmaxxed I'm not sure when i got them removed if they fixed it or if i had the yellow spots at all
