Because Isayama is a hack and fucked up the ending when writing Ymir. Dumb bitch was stuck in Paths for 2000 years because she loved her rapist, and was waiting all this time for Mikasa to kill Eren so she 'could learn how to move on'

So Ymir knew her love for Fritz was retarded, but still decided to build titans out of sand for fuck knows how long, just so Mikasa can be the MC of the story. And don't you fucking bring up Stockholm Syndrome - Fritz slaughtered her village, cut out her tongue, attempted to kill her, raped her, used her like a slave, then fed the bitch to her own daughters. The guy literally had no redeeming qualities for Ymir to fall in love with.

Don't even get me started on how the ending butchers the dynamic between Eren and Ymir. 'To you, 2000 years from now', 'From you, 2000 years ago', yeah that actually didn't mean anything it's all about MIKASA. Holy fuck the ending was so bad

Ending was trash, none of the fans who supported the author all those years wanted it, the author did that because of some retarded political viewpoint that he wanted to get across. It was garbage and ruined the entire series.
