Nah I was too young, I think I first became politically "conscious" by 2016, and that was via Reddit (r/CringeAnarchy and r/MillionDollarExtreme)
I saw some of the stuff on Youtube though (MLG Trump, Can't Stomp the Trump, those movie/music edits with Trump), thought he was super cool despite not even being American. When he won, the worst people I knew were distraught and feared nuclear war lmao, felt good

Yeah ihad the same experience. I was only involved in chan since 2022, which was well past its prime. Ive always enjoyed watching videos about the dramas back then, both on the boards and on youtube. It seemed like a wild time to be around
