I’ll tell you the best date ive ever had when i was 16


Bro… so I went on this date with this girl named Lira. She’s like, the weirdest and coolest girl I’ve ever met. Half-Japanese, half-Spanish, super into horror stuff (like she legit thinks Art the Clown is funny), and she’s always carrying around this little camera, taking black and white photos like she’s in a movie or something.





We didn’t do anything fancy. We just met up and kinda wandered around, doing whatever felt right. She brought her camera, obviously, and made me pose in front of this random broken vending machine. Said it looked “aesthetically tragic.” I was like, “You’re so weird,” and she just smiled and took the shot.





We found this old playground and ended up just sitting on the swings talking about random stuff. Roblox, creepy internet stories, anime characters we’re lowkey obsessed with. She even admitted she has a body pillow but said it’s “for emotional support.” I couldn’t even judge because I almost said “same” out loud.





She surprised me with this tiny, cursed-looking microwave model she made in Roblox. Bro, I’m not even kidding, she somehow got an R6 character to spin inside of it. She pulled out her phone, showed me, and we both just started dying laughing. We ended up acting out some dumb dialogue with invisible dummies.



Then we grabbed something to eat. Nothing crazy, just some pasta from this little spot she knew. She dipped her rice cake in pasta sauce like a menace. I told her she was gross and she told me to stay mad.


After that, we found this rooftop spot where we could sit and chill. No one around, just us, city lights in the background. She took one last photo of me just staring at the sky. I asked her what she was gonna call it and she said: “The boy who dated the glitch in the system.”
