Telogen effluvium

I'm 90% sure i have TE, I'm kinda losing a lot of hair, all 5cm+ length, and my scalp is visibly thinner than prior. Do i have to cut out anything that can cause it (possibly retinol/retinoids) or will it fix itself?

If its TE, it resolve from itself. It can be caused by stress, surgery, Covid etc (It appear like 3 month after the cause)
