subq doesnt absorb as well or as uniform, im is better. it shouldn't hurt much at all if it all, where are you injecting, what gauge and length needle are you using.

Preference, if ur doing a super low volume of oil daily subq is a fine option

You probably just hit a bad spot.
Sometimes glute injections are painless for me, like I feel nothing, sometimes it stings pretty bad to pierce the skin.
