Recently aquired and have been testing some substances for a variety of benefits, some for nootropic, some for social. So far I've taken: Modafinil, Armodafinil, Coluracetam, Bromantane, Phenibut. I'll discuss the phenibut + coluracetam in a different thread (extremely intresting experience), for this I'll talk about the stimulants.
The two -finils were nearly identical during the duration of the experience: felt more awake and energized, but not that any fatigue had been removed, more so that a layer of wakefulness and energy had been added on top. My head was noticeably clearer and I was noticeably more focused, although it was subtle, not quite to Adderall-level effects. Addy feels like you're flowing from one thing to the other and everything is FUN, this is not the same, there's not really euphoria and you feel it in amuch more subtle way. I'll also say that after around hour 3-4 you don't notice the effects, but they were clearly still working based on my behavior. This was also probably the best preworkout I've ever had, my lifts on these drugs were fantastic, I felt as if I could continue forever. These both seem to help mental anxiety significantly by reducing mental noise and intrusive thoughts, although after the Armodafinil dose I did notice a slight rebound effect, where I was very demotivated, lethargic, and disinterested in everything for the morning of the next day. On typical Modafinil I didn't notice this as much, but it's possible I just went to bed after the crash, woke up, and any rebound effects were gone by then to the point where I didn't take note of them.
Bromantane was different, I tried it a few times and didn't really feel it unless I paired it with another stimulant. When I took it with modafinil + caffiene the stimulation was a bit much and I felt a little too jittery/stimmed out, but with one or the other I just felt more motivated, a little lower anxiety, and a better mood. Even more subtle than the modafinil to the point where the first 1-2 times I didn't think I felt it at all.
PPAP is the most interesting one, but one I haven't tried yet, will be taking it next week. I am most interested because it appears to mimic the effects of Adderall closest, which is a drug I loved the first time I took. It has very little research and data, but experience reports I've read say good things, although vary widely. I will post a threat with my experience next week after I take it.
The dose was 200mg for Modafinil and 150mg for the Armodafinil, they are nearly the exact same drug aside from the fact Armodafinil has a longer duration. Bromantane the dose was 100mg, for PPAP the dose will be 30mg. I have a good source so I am fairly confident the doses are accurate.
Stims are great though, I know it's cliche to say but it feels like it fixes a problem I can't put my finger on and have had my whole life, like I am finally in control of my body. These don't have the magic of Adderall, but they're still good tools since they're less addictive and wayyy easier to access, I don't have an addy script.
