I don’t know what your options are I’m not an orthodontist but yes tell her you don’t want THESE braces as they are pulling your maxilla back there must be another option

if you weren’t high inhib you wouldn’t be ashamed of telling her this even if it may cause inconvenience or annoyance. You know what you want and don’t want so take the leap.
